Henry James Salon is happy to support the Homeless Pet Clubs. We are a local business club using our social networks to find second homes for pets who find themselves homeless when their families encounter hardships. Homeless Pet Clubs are the offshoot of the Homeless Pet Foundation, the brainchild of Atlanta veterinarian, Dr. Michael Good. Dr. Good (a wonderful vet who takes care of our Silky Terrier, Flash) formed the Foundation to help relieve the pressure on animal shelters and pet owners who turned to them in times of distress. In Atlanta alone, more than 100,000 animals are destroyed each year because of the loss of a home. The Foundation and the Homeless Pet Clubs help buy time for these loving animals to find a second home, and provide critical medical care, food, foster care and comfort while they wait and hope for a new family.
